- I tried to check where it redirects, but at the moment domain is just on simple landing page of registrar.

- While someone just spent whopping 13,544 USD for new gTLD, it's .com counterpart, PloyShop / com has expired, and is pending renewal or deletion, according message one sees when visiting the domain name at the time of writing this post...interesting, imo

I am 100% sure that if that indeed expires, someone from here will insta registrer it and then contact owner of .shop name and try to lecture them about the "king"

 

Umm just did a good for Ployshop seems to be some hits for it. There is even a #ployshop

I think whoever owned ployshop.com asked for the moon and end-user instead bought ploy.shop for $13k.

Sedo will not transact on a expired, or soon to be expired domain, it has to be renewed for the transaction to proceed.

Additional verification would be needed to purchase it also.

 

Yes, ploy, not play Well, it was transacted just few days ago, so probably it will take some time to deploy a website on it I guess.

 

I just checked that play / shop is registry reserved, I suspect 13k will not do in this case
