Good idea, thank you. Wrote it down for future updates.
Does it append a pre-selected group of keywords to the inputted keyword? If so, I think you need to work on this. You need give the user more options and it should be more intuitive. You should never run of results because look at how many keywords are available in the dictionary.
Yes, that's basically how it works. What options would you like? Just tell us, we already added features that were suggested here.
We won't connect it to a dictionary, but instead continue manually selecting the modifiers to ensure a higher quality, although that means it will take us longer to have a huge number of modifiers.
Looks cool. How does your algo compete with namemesh.com
NameMesh's algo provides a larger variety of suggestions. We put the focus on domains that are pronounceable and easy to understand, as we think customers and visitors will be able to remember these domains better, e.g. I type in the keyword "robot" into NameMesh, it shows domains like "robotthros", "athrobot", which I think are quite hard to remember.
Another difference is that we believe the user wants different suggestions depending on what they need the domain for. For example, we suggest different domains if the user needs a domain for an online shop or an app, whereas NameMesh does not differ between that.
We also allow you to use new domain extensions, which is not possible at NameMesh.
Nothing against NameMesh though, they are the most popular domain name generator for a reason. We just have a different approach. Ideally, people would use both NameMesh and DomainAuthor and then just pick the domain suggestion they like more.
