Please Remove BROJO From This Site

Username: Brojo needs to go. He owes me a refund that I have been asking for for 3 weeks and everytime I see him it is the same story. He says he is trying to raise money to pay me back because he failed to complete my project at all. Well he told me he transferred money to Paypal and it should be a couple days, but I will get my money. A week later, I don't even get a PM from Brojo and of course I get no money. I thought he was a nice kid and so I waited patiently for my $50 refund that I was supposed to get 3 weeks ago and never got it.

I finally saw Brojo at the beginning of the week and told him I am sick of this and I want my money back, but being the nice guy I am I said he could pay me in installments. I said I wanted $10 buy wednesday, and he agreed, as the first installment. Well her I am on thursday, no $10, and no word from Brojo. Not even a PM to say I will get the money. This kid is a scam artist because I am not the only person he owes something too. Fish, has been trying to get his site from this kid for awhile now and he has had no luck. The same excuse over and over again that he has to do something and the site will be available the next day, but it never is.

This little kiddy should not be allowed on this forum because he is a stain on Namepros great reputation. It has been about 7 weeks and this kid has not produced anything for me, no site, no refund, no nothing.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS KID, HE THINKS THIS IS ALL A GAME AND NOT REAL BUSINESS!!

Mark, thank you. even if i don't get my money I just wanted this kid off this site. People like this ruin a legitimate business site and brojo was only hurting the namepros reputation.

I've been trying to get my money back for around a month or so...$250. He is a very good scam artist and talks a good game. I didn't ever get any work out of him.

What he has done is criminal, and he should be treated as one.

UPDATE: My conflict with user Brojo has been resolved. I actually came in contact with his father and receive my refund promptly. His father is a good guy and is teaching his son a valuable lesson. He has kindly asked me for all the people who have had problems with Brojo to PM me, RockDiesel, their e-mail address or phone number so he can contact you and work out all the conflicts. I will pass all info on to him.

Thats sorta harsh but deserved. I am sorry that it had to come down to that, but I am glad it was resolved and the others will be resolved as well.

EDIT: Actually your post just inspired me to look up Codys phone number 'axilant' and give him a call. I spoke to him and he personally guaranteed that I would have a resolution within 'a day or two'...I sincerely hope so otherwise it looks like I'll be speaking to his father too.

SECOND UPDATE: I've finally recieved a refund from Cody and I'm glad to say that the matter is now closed.

After two months, Brojo still has not paid me back the $250 he stole from me.

A few days ago, he was contacted by an NP member, and told the member he would contact me by today, but he hasn't.

Any suggestions for action would be welcome. Otherwise, I guess it's going to get ugly, and I hate to see that happen.

I suppose you could call him or his parents as Lux did, SPEAKING to a person really does get the problem resolved a lot of the time. There's much more pressue talking to a person, rather than a computer screen

I hope I'm wrong about this, but...

I think I'm being scammed again by this guy. Last night, less than an hour after posting my message above (11:25 p.m. his time in FL), I got a call supposedly from the father (Winston Benjamin, Sr.). But the voice sounded like the son's, and he immediately wanted to change to msn messenger to chat. Stuff he typed, just didn't seem right. He said to only use [email protected] as his e-mail, but when I checked, I found project2.com was just registered a few days ago on apr.4 with the son's name, winston benjamin, jr. and Jr's e-mail address. Furthermore, I called the phone # in the whois info, and it's a fake...it rings and then a busy signal. The name/address/zip/phone don't match in lookups, and, overall, the whole thing just stinks to high heaven.

If anyone can help in any way, I'd appreciate it.

I suppose just avoid anything that seems the slightest bit suspicious to begin with, and if you have a good trader rating, then only accept goods from low TR's first, then pay, if they agree to that.

I've always lived by the rule of don't trust anyone unless you can risk it. Usually when I don't trust someone I make smaller deals until it's something I can trust them with. Also once you get a decent sized company they will bill you later, when they see you are trust-worthy and they see you are too (with or without a Dun and Bradstreet check). There are tons of possibilities.

whoa! hold on a minute, although i can see how annoyign it must be to be scammed by someone (its never happened to me but still) ... however you ahev got jsut as much chance beign scammed by a minor as an adult, infact probaably more adults will scam you/mess up and not pay correctly etc.

But there are plenty of decent younger peopel on this forum, flubber and morphmaster set an excellent example and are always helping people out, if minors were banned the forum would be a worse place

In an e-mail from April 17, Brojo promised to pay me the remaining $200 he still owes by tonight. Since 4/17, I've not heard from him again, nor has he paid me. I sent him a reminder e-mail tonight.

When I chatted (supposedly) with his dad a month ago, as his punishment for stealing, he was supposed to get a job and pay me back, and he was supposed to be denied access to his computer for two months. However, he somehow was able to answer an e-mail a couple of weeks later on 4/17. You do the math.

It's now been three months since he defrauded $250 from me. I've received $50 back (4/9) in that whole time. I've been pretty patient, but I have to draw the line now.

If anyone knows the real phone number to actually reach his father, Winston Benjamin Sr., I'd appreciate it if you would pass it on to me. I'd like to know I'm really talking to the father. (In my last "chat," he told me he flew a 737 for the government but didn't have $250...or $200 or any amount he could send at that time. And he hasn't contacted me at all despite the deep concern for the problem and his promise to keep me posted on his son's repayment progress. Doesn't sound quite right, does it?)

verbster, i am sorry to hear that your conflict has not been resolved yet. try doing some WhoIs searches on some domains that he owns. I don't know of any that he owns off the top of my head, but you may be able to search past threads for some.
