I'm doing all the CSS/HTML work by hand, so I'd appreciate feedback, comments, but most importantly, suggestions.

It's still a work in progress...I want to get something that looks good with good layout before I start working on it full force.

Well, I tried black (it looked...just bad) so I put some blue into the text color.

To be honest i'm not feeling it at all. It looks unprofessional and undeveloped.

I never said it was professional...its a work in progress. That's why it's still at a subdomain; it's not ready to go live yet

I agree with what the other people said. Also, I don't like it when the gradients just end somewhere randomly. I say add some kind of stroke/line around it or at the sides to make it look like they end somewhere.

That's about it. Add more content, some pictures/graphics, make the text black, then come back for further reviews

it is clean, fast loading and simple, i really think it is great, i love the fact it is light weight, mine is www.killersarequiet.com and is pretty lightweight, i think you should maybe get some idea's from mine :P

Yeah, I agree with that... Have you tried giving them a 1px border? Maybe a blue border that will kind of "hold it together"? I think the gradient would be easier on the brain that way...
