I'm wanting to put some lyrics on my fan website of system of a down.

I was wondering if I need any permission to put these lyrics on my site from the record company or not or if I just need to add something to my disclaimer page?

Please help as it would be really appreciated and I want this website up ASAP.

Yes you need permission to print lyrics on a website.

Legally, lyrics are copyrighted material, so you would need permission. I don't know how strict they are on going after people who do it, but it's the recording industry, so nothing would surprise me...
