I am trying to start a Reviews Site and I need your advice.
Due to budget constrains, I decided that it would be best to opt for a customized Wordpress instead of building a brand new site from scratch.
I am currently trying to figure out if the following features are available in Wordpress:

Due to budget constrains, I decided that it would be best to opt for a customized Wordpress instead of building a brand new site from scratch.
I am currently trying to figure out if the following features are available in Wordpress:
- Is there a way to allow the site’s visitors to make new posts and/or edit their posts but without having the full permission of an admin? I found that you can do that by allowing visitors to register as “Contributors”.
- Would the above pose a security threat? Is there another way to do it that’s safer?
- Furthermore, would there be a way to set it up so that users can subscribe to the RSS of specific contributors? Or any other way to get updates from 1 or a couple of selected contributors? (Maybe like how people subscribe to YouTube channels or follow others in Twitter?)
- Is there a way to add a rating system for every post?
