Hi i am a newbie and i dont know abt these copyright infringements and all

I Am Living in India So say if I have a .com similar to a really popular site and the owner of this company is from US

Now where would this man file the case, in US ??
And If it is filed in US Would I Have to go there and fight the case
But this company doesnt hold any copyrights in India
So Can My site be Affected in anyway ??

I'm sure many of your questions can be potentially answered if you only took
time to browse the other threads. There's a wealth of info here, and many of
the questions asked are repetitions because many people ask without making
any seeming attempt to check first.

But I'll tell you this:

1. The person can opt to sue in the US and attempt to get it enforced in your
country under any and all agreements between the 2 countries.

2. The person can opt to fly to your country and sue under any and all laws
there.

3. Or just plain give up, of course. :D

It's a matter of which is more potentially practical.

So All this Hue and Cry are there Only If I Live in US
Coz In Here I Am Safe
