equals companies name

the company is in the finance industry
similar to pay/pal / pa/yoneer


the company is stock traded
they operate as .com
and bought the .de for $125 k USD


how munch is the .us worth?

Because its a weak extension, you can't put a price on this name by looking at past sales of strong cctld's like .DE . The chances are they wont want the name. I would contact them first and see if there is any interest and then worry about a price.

Is the company german if they paid that for the .DE?

I would add what you think is fair on their initial offer and see what happens. I wouldnt go too high with a US though

The only thing we can tell is that .us is a very weak TLD. And it looks like you are dealing with the 'obvious' end user. Doesn't mean they will pay 125K for it, that would be surprising for a .us.

As I said, you cannot just answer this question and put a value on this name, its really depends on what they are looking to spend. If they have offered $2k, Iw ould go for $3.5K and see what happens, you cant complain when its a .US

It really depends on their first offer, if Paypal came to me with a 5K offer on Paypal.us, then I would go for 8K-10K, if they came in with a first offer of $50k, then I would try for $60k or 70K, you cant look at a .us name and they how much is this worth to them, they have given you some indication by their first offer
