In the past, I've always sold my names through GoDaddy and Sedo. How does it work when selling names through the forum?

The buyer PMs you for your PayPal address to send payment? What other info do they provide you?

They send payment. Most of my names are at GoDaddy, so then push the domain via the account change option using the same email the buyer used at PayPal?

Please explain.

Thanks!!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
GoDaddyGoDaddy
1. The seller PMs his paypal info
2. They buyer pays and sends his registrar information (Godaddy - send account name/# and email; Dynadot - send "forum name"; These are the only registrars I've dealt with)
3. Upon confirmation of payment, seller pushes the domain
4. Trader ratings are left for the opposing party
5. Everybody is happy :)

Thanks for your quick reply. SK1990. Will post some names for sale soon.

Are there any PayPal fees? If so, who usually pays them?

Yes there are Paypal fees, but you don't mention those fees whilst selling. You just add it in to the price.

I think it varies from country to country, but normally 3.9% + $0.30 for international transactions.
