The plural thing reduces potential value of this domain name, IMHO.

Thanks very much.

Could you tell me how I can sell this name to someone/ anyone? I'm a noob and I have absolutely no idea what to do with this domain name and a dozen other domain names that I've registered so far. Should I place this name for auction in sedo or some other site? Is that the right way to go about it?

I'm sorry if these questions sound too amateurish to you guys, but I'm brand new. I'd really appreciate if someone could guide me through this process.

Thanks very much in advance for all your valuable suggestions.

It's a brandable name, thus it's value isn't in keyword relevance.
It isn't a bad brandable at all.

Brandables can be tough, since you're basically searching for a needle in a haystack sort of buyer... Since they don't bear any relevance to search terms, you're counting on an end-user being so inspired by the cachet of the name that they actually open their wallets. With that said, I do kinda like this one and I believe it's worth more than reg fee, but I wouldn't keep it more than a few years, looking for an end user (if your goal is to flip it. If you own a pizza joint, this is a fine platform to develop on)

Thanks mate. No, I don't own a pizza joint. I am not thinking of developing a website at all. I'm just trying to sell this name.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I don't have an exact price in my mind. Mid $xxx may be? What do you think is a good price?

I think low xxx for a quick sale.

Thanks. Will keep that in mind.

Thanks very much for all your valuable suggestions folks. Is anyone in this forum interested in buying this name from me? Please let me know your thoughts.

PS: I registered this name just a couple of weeks back. Does that mean I can't sell it before the mandatory 60-day registration period?

if its a godaddy reg it must be an inhouse transfer , unsure about other registrars

I registered it on name.com.

One more thing folks. I came across this site - www.tastypizza.ca. It's a pizza joint. Do you think I should contact these guys and see if they are interested? Or is it a terribly bad idea? Could someone help me out?

Thanks

PS: If anyone is interested in buying this name from me, please get in touch with me with your best offer.

PPS: I know I'm asking you a lot of questions, but please bear with me. :)

Honestly, you will have a hard time finding an end user to pay mid $xxx unless you can find an established business named "Tasty Pizzas". Unless a business with this name exists, the value is mid to high $x undeveloped. IMO.

Thanks for the suggestion mate. I did find one such business - Tasty Pizza Home Page. I'm not sure if I should approach them. I've never done this kind of stuff before and I'm a little nervous. Got any suggestions? I'm all ears.

Your name is plural, theirs is singular. In addition, they are probably happy with .CA and would not have a need for .COM. In my opinion, you should chalk this one up to experience and look for better domains. Best of luck.

The best use for a name like this isn't as a bullseye match for a business name, but rather as a descriptive branding platform.

Like, Kelloggs uses breakfast.co.uk.

If I owned a pizza shop in Chicago named Big Bills Pizza, yeah, I would want to own BigBillsPizza.com, but I would gladly use BestPizzaInChicago.com in marketing campaigns (which is taken :( )

I guess. But those examples you provide are more generic than tasty pizzas which sounds more like a brand. In addition there are thousands of similar domains available for registration to provide a platform for such a technique. Why would someone pay a premium for this particular domain?

Sounds like a pretty tough sell to an end user. IMO.

I like TastyPizzas.com
I'm pretty sure tastypizza.ca wont be interested in your name.
I see TastyPizzas.ca is available for reg, that tantalizes my taste buds

There are many possibilities for this name, recipe site, pizza directory, end user
I feel this is an excellent name for a pizza company and will be worth nice money in time.
Value now I would sell at 250 canadian dollars, but then i would sell any name i own for 250 dollars.
There may be many names similar to this one,but if someone comes up with the idea of starting a pizza company TastyPizzas.com is sure an easy name to remember.I see tastypizza.com is for sale at sedo,I would like to have that set myself
Lose that parked page noone is going to click on antispyware or motorcycle insurance if they type in tastypizzas
Proxy servers that looks like a money maker as well...

Every other extension is also available.....just sitting there waiting to tempt your taste buds. There's enough tasty pizzas available to satisfy an entire thread full for domainers. Lol.
