Im not a fan at all of .info or .us, but i figured might have a little value with todays news release of the new surtax proposal for 2013. It also gets decent exact searches.

A surtax is like a tax on top of a tax, perhaps in the USA if they enacted one nationally for some project or cause it would give these names a boost. When you look at the com net org and there all parked and looks like different companys (different owners i would guess) it means one or more of these things: 1) No "enduser" ever offered the owners enough money to get them to sell. 2) Its making enough money parking that there no reason to develop them or sell. 3) The owners so happy they have a one word domain it stays in their possession period. 4) Owners plans to do something with it some day. 5) The name too hard to build into a profitable site on. I think 3-5 is alot of the reason here, in others words be careful regging infos and .us of names that nobody did anything with in com/net/org and displays zero adword ads.
