Software design has 8100 exact monthly searches according to the new google keyword tool - which means the exact number is probably closer to 50K +++, really nice searches.

Great term, attractive to a whole variety of software services. With hyphen is taken in multiple extensions, without hyphen is taken in many many extensions. Nice for domainers and end users alike.

Hard to give a definitive, tight appraisal for this one, could swing many ways. But I'd say a sober absolute minimum would be in the $5K range on a cold slow day. A fair to good price would be double to triple that, but the sky's the limit since this name could easily attract a bidding war between software designers

I was watching a report on CBS this morning about all the Apps designers and they could love this domain, especially those that take ideas from others and develop it for them...I will go a conservative $4k on this but it is very possible you could get a bidding frenzy if you hit all the major players at once.

It is an awesome name.
