Just out of curiosity I did a quick keyword check on "fones" and it returned 3,600 EXACT monthly searches. So I feel there may be a market out there, a small market be it.

vodafone.de, vodafone.co.uk, one of the biggest provider in europe.....OP, before you start to sell or put a blog/forum on the domains i would ask in the legal forum for help...(you said you picked it up, did they drop and you got them in auction? if yes there was probably a reason for dropping them....better safe then sorry

I picked them up from eBay a couple of days ago. They weren't overly expensive so I don't mind if they aren't worth much at all.
Yes you are correct about vodafone. I'll pop a question in the legal section and see what people think.
