domain Please Appraise Ovoli dot com (offer received need appraisal/help)

Hi all!

I am new to selling domains, just recently I got an offer on my domain Ovoli.com and I was wondering what you think it might be worth to a end user. I don't think it is donald trump who made the offer of course, the offer is a low $xxx amount.

So what do you think? Counter offer with with a low $xxxx amount or higher $xxx amount?

Or what do you think it is worth?

if you really had an offer, here is what i think:

1) the owner of the .net (a law office) made you that offer. i would counter with very high xxx (but choose your words in a way that leaves room for further negotiation!) then try to meet somewhere mid xxx if they don't accept the high xxx offer. (if they accept even better).

of course there is always the risk that the buyer is not interested anymore and that this is your only chance to sell it. but could be that they want the .com so bad that they would even pay x.xxx ! you never know. you have to weigh and decide.

i personally would take the risk on this one, as they are lawyers and probably have the money and probably want the .com

2) normally such 5L names are reg fee, until someone is interested in them. appraisals are not possible for such names. could be that this is your only chance to sell this name.

of course, could also be that i am wrong and someone else is interested.

Good luck with the negotiation. They approached you first, so you have the upper hand. I wouldn't go too far past low $xxxx and I'd even sell for low $xxx, unless you have any serious plans to develop the name.
