My turn to be the annoying n00b.

I have been hoarding far too many domain names that I haven't done much of anything with. I'd love to know your thoughts on the value and/or best use for the following:

FixCalifornia.com

ProCalifornia.com

OKforCats.com

OKforDogs.com

OKforPets.com

WhatDoesYOLOMean.com (lol... don't kill me)

TopGiftsThisChristmas.com

Apologies in advance if this was too many for one post. . .

Thank you.

OKforCats.com $0 - $50, although not easy to sell

OKforDogs.com $0 - $50, although not easy to sell

OKforPets.com $50 - $100

WhatDoesYOLOMean.com $0

TopGiftsThisChristmas.com $0, not good enough as for someone would want to pay

Thanks. My thinking on this one was for political advocacy purposes. . .

Yes... I think you could test to offer that domain (by email) to people who might be interested in creating a site about that. Then if some interested appears, you could tell a price or tell make an offer

:imho:

None of them are worth anything, IMHO. The first two, as you say, are for political advocacy - but those groups rarely spend big on domains - and you'd have to be lucky enough to get a group to choose that name in the first place. This is the problem with all "brandables." It's like winning the lottery if someone decides they really want your name above all others.

OK is pretty bland. What kind of site could build with that??

YOLO seems pointless.

The last one, if I was forced at gunpoint to take one of your names, would be the one I would take. At least it suggests a reason for being - and a site theme. A Christmas gift site - cool. The problem is, that exact phrase gets about 50 searches a month, and there are probably dozens of other still-unregistered Christmas gift keyword domains that would perform better.

Hi Brandon,

I think that procalifornia.com is, by far, your
best name. In this instance, "pro" should mean
professional, as opposed to its other possible
meaning, i.e. as a positive in favour of (pro/con).

Use the name to host a Directory of Professionals
in California?.. Yes, you could do that, and it's
not a bad name at all.

Selling price could be up to $1,500 or so to someone
who likes it and has a development plan in mind.

Good luck with it,

My thinking when buying it was along those lines. Would be a bit of work though. :)

Thank you.

I do see any value in the names, I would let them expire

FixCalifornia.com - reg fee
others $0

I also would only keep ProCalifornia. There is value in this Geo name but if you can find a buyer is an other story. Good luck !
