So, all of the major cities are either premium names or taken at this point. I think those were easy regs for speculators because they could just do a bulk check on city names and register the available ones.
However, they can't do a bulk check of local attractions/places, unless they have somehow managed to compile a list on their own.
So it seems there are quite a few of these "destination" places still available. I picked up StoneMountain.mobi the other day. Had I not lived in Georgia I probably would never know it existed, but it is a major attraction/destination, and it also has great OVT.
Here are two examples of available ones:
MissionBay.mobi (a major aquatics park here in San Diego)
OldTown.mobi (a major toursit spot in San Diego, probably in other cities too)
Now I'm sure in other states/places you have similar "destinations" where you would have to live in the state to know they exist. If you know of any, maybe its a good idea to see if it's available and then do an OVT search to see if worth registering?
