Photoshop cs5 help

Hi i have ps cs5 ,when i use paint bucket tool i get a loading bar come up and it takes about 1 min to change colour .My pc spec is

Windows 7 64 bit

Display ati radeon hd 3200 graphics

processor amd althon 28508 - 1.8 ghz

memory -3072 mb ram

Are you getting the loading bar when you select the color to fill or when your actually filling the image. If it's when you fill the image then it might be the size of the file your working on. Also i find if i have photoshop open for long periods of time it tends to bog down a bit. So i close it and open it again.
