We all have our pet hates in life, mine include stepping in dog crap and Phillip Schofield :xf.confused:

In the domain sense I have regged several names and the previous owner has failed to remove them from market places creating more work for me which means this has now been added to my list......

Do you have any pet hates? -Try and keep them domain related or include just one outside this sphere!

Mine is people who don't call it pet peeves.

How the word PREMIUM has 1700 different meanings in the domain industry and ultimately just makes it meaningless.

People that use the word/expression "bro".
LOL. This is actually a very common thing in India and its taken from watching American movies. Go to a forum where you see alot of Indians chatting in english, they will use "Bro" quite often.

"That's what I'm talking about" phrase used for everything... even when they aren't talking about it.

When people create new threads with the same questions that has been asked numerous times, when the forum is loaded with answers to the questions.

A simple search would answer the questions.

Now why would I go through the trouble of searching and doing the research when I can make a new thread and expect the answers to come to me!

sarcasm obv

When people offer advice in a rude and disparaging manner.

Often times it is accompanied with excuses like:

"Just giving you the facts"

"I don't sugar coat it"

When you're driving and you let someone turn in front of you, and they don't wave or thank you.

or

When you're out with someone and their on their phone 24/7

That grinds my gears.

People who feel the need to tell me about their "journey".

Also, the word journey, unless it's a radio host announcing a Steve Perry song.

I see this a lot, people think they are entitled to something for nothing and can't be bothered to put in the legwork

Lot's of lazy so and so's out there

The thing is that this applies to every industry. Affiliate marketing, niche websites, SEO, domaining etc... People read the success stories and want their piece of the pie without doing any actual work.

Pet Peeve: New domainers joining and immediately asking for people to teach them EVERYTHING, especially if they do it in their intro message.

It's the "I need a mentor" type of member who wants instant answers so they can sell the very next domain they register.
