Pending Registrar Completion

I registered a domain name today and it says, "Pending Registrar Completion" as its status. What does that mean?

Sounds like your registrar is waiting for confirmation from the central registry that the domain has actually been registered. Which extension is it and which registrar are you using?

Does that mean I don't actually own it yet? Can someone else from a different registrar take it? I regged a .mobi from registerdub.com .

A transfer can take 3-7 days.
My recent transfer was 4 days.

What transfer? Do new domains have to be transferred, if yes - from where?

Shouldn't take too long. I've registered .mobi's with RegisterDub and I think confirmation that the domain was in my account took half an hour or so. If it takes much longer than that - I'd hunt down INod here on the forum.

If it is a RegisterDub problem please contact me.. Generally that happens if the Registry is down, or a resellers API is down.
