Pending Delete inventory quality drop

Just wondering if it is only me or is the quality of the pending delete domains dropping over the last few months?

Seems like the pre-release domains are holding all the quality inventory now.

Has a big registrar linked up with a pre-release auction platform?

I agree with you. The quality of pendingdelete inventory has dropped IMO but pre-release domains are going well.

Pre-release has been going strong for years, until a few years ago when the masses caught on, now it's hit or miss on both.

I havent looked at pending deletes in a while but I imagine this stranglehold will be the norm as registrars want to maximize profits wherever they can. They're not making it on hand regs and the filtering technology is now readily available to those who sign up.
