Okay, I know that this doesn't have to do with domains so much, but only as a way to pay for them. Anyway: I want to add funds from my credit card to my Paypal account. When I go to "Add Funds" my only option is to take out of my checking account, which I don't want. I have TWO credit cards on file, verified, and working within my Paypal account. But can I use them to add funds with? Nope. This is really putting me in a difficult situation, am I SOL or is there something I'm missing here?

you dont need to add funds when you have a CC on file.. just purchase with your paypal and they will charge it to your CC. adding funds are for other than CC..

That's the problem, when I was purchasing the item I bought on eBay - I wanted to buy it with my credit card. I looked, and looked, and looked - finally I gave up because I didn't see the option to pay by taking money from my CC instead of my Paypal balance. So, I had to subdue and use my balance. Now I can't refill my balance with my credit card.

Damn Paypal, it's like they love making it as complex as they can make it. When really, it would make a whole lot more sense to just keep things simple and let users pay how they want without hiding things as good as they can.

Did you search Paypal help? It must be there somewhere.

Direct from Paypal Help:
You can choose your credit or debit card as your funding source when you send a PayPal payment. Click the More Funding Options link when you are sending a payment.

Note: If there is enough money in your PayPal balance to cover the payment, you cannot use your credit or debit card as a funding option for that payment.

Yeah, ironically I clicked that "more funding options" link, despite the fact that I have 2 verified CC's on my Paypal account, it would only let me pay with my balance or my checking account.

It has to be an error on Paypal's behalf because I know by all means it should have let me send the payment via CC, but wouldn't (actually it hasn't ever since I added my checking account, hmmm.)

I had to call pay pal a few days back about my Checking already being on there, they must have run a million checks and they couldn't find it anywhere. So then I kept getting transfered, finally they just give up and give me a unlimted sending ballence with no credit card. Just call them. Believe it or not the acually pick up after not too long.

Just FYI, the term "retarded" can be offensive to some, especially if they have mentally impaired acquantances or family members.

Retarded means holding somebody back. PayPal is holding him back. So, in this case, its a proper use :)

Just FYI :)

I had the same prob the other day, I never had enough in my paypal to pay for what I wanted, so it automatically initiated the transfer from my bank account (no c/c on file)
Problem was, they did it twice!...I couldn't cancel the 2nd order (which was duped in error but cancelled within an hour) But paypal told me because of the cost involed they would not cancel duped order BUT they will put the extra bank transfer into my paypal balance - well isin't that nice of them!!!

PayPal spelled backwards is LapYap, btw. Errr, does that mean anything? ( RW goes off to see if lapyap.com is taken.... )

Is it possible that the person you want to pay has specified Paypal only from your account, not from a CC.

I think I've seen this a few times on ebay.
