PayPal Dispute

First off, this matter is over only $6 but is annoying and I want it resolved.

About a week or so ago I sold a MRR package to a fellow on different forums... he paid me and I sent him the download link... well the link did not work because I was host-less.

He then put a dispute on PayPal and said the links did not work, I emailed him a new WORKING link and he is not replying on PayPal...

All you can really do in this situation is to hope the kid will be nice enough to email them back, saying it has been resolved.

I think there is a way to email paypal the info as well...

you could try going into paypal and contesting the dispute. They have an area where you can add any comments necessary.

Hm, I posted on the PayPal dispute thing saying they never responded after I sent a working link.....

they dont always respond until a decision has been made.

assure the customer or prospects that delivery of digital goods is within 24 hours guaranteed so they won't file a dispute like this and also state somewhere in your sales page the office hours that you can deliver it on time within 24 hours. this will help you in the long run minimizing the dispute filed on your services/products.

next to products/services people will turn to the delivery time.

I believe paypal does not guarantee virtual goods, meaning he should be out of luck. Atleast, this is how it used to be - anyone care to comment?

(Thats assuming it was a fund transfer and not backed from a CC)

If the buyer chooses that the payment is for services or you send a funds request to the buyer specifying its for services then they cant chargeback I think? That is probably the only way to sell domains, online products and other intangible goods through paypal.

Update: It defaultly closed 20 days after...so I got my money finally :p.
