So A guy from another website told me he would host my domain name, ewboard.com. I figured hey its free hosting so ill take it. He had me send him 10 dollars paypal, and then he reg the domain himself and had the domain set up so my site was hosted on it. I was like cool my site up and running.
Then one day an admin from my forum said the site wasnt working. I thought nothing of it. Then on msn i saw the guys info and it said ewboard.com for sale. so i go and check and he deleted the site. I tried to email him, send him offline messages on msn, everything, and he wont reply. I told him I want my money back since hes selling the domain i just paid for. I was gonna start a dispute with paypal, but the transaction isnt on the list because its been a while.

what should I do?

I Know how to reg a domain, he did it because he was hosting it to. I have filed a complant with paypal and it should be resolved. Bad on my part for trusting the guy.

Was there a TOS? He did register the domain and wwas the owner unless there is clear documetation that you rae to be the owner. He may have registered on your behalf, but that doesn't mean you own it. Many hosting companies do this so beware of where you go.
