Paypal - but no credit card..!

hey there,

well i do small business online, in desiging and i take payments by paypal.. so now i have some $$'s in my paypal, but the thing is i dont have a credit card , so they are not allowing me to make payments for domains, example: payment to godaddy, neither they are allowing me to withdraw my funds , i stay in india and i wanna knw tht is tere any way i can get my funds from paypal in india, without a credit card...???

well i wrote a letter to them, sayin the same problem but they cant understand it , they just say the benefits i get once m account is verified..

anyways i have written a letter to them again.. !

Well I am also from India. And this had been a problem to me but then again paypal is right.

You should get verified. And to get verified you need a credit card.

I think you can open an account on your fathers name and put his creditcard in it with his permission the only thing is that you will operate the whole account.

I know Banks will not offer you the creditcard. I have tried a lot and then in end I got a credit card for my father and took the benifit of the scheme for an addon card on my name and Now I have my own credit card :D

Without credit card no paypal max then $100 transactions. I know that.

You need to invest in an offshore credit card/bank account if you are not from the US/UK and feel the need for PayPal. Otherwise, you won't have any luck.

well paypal says they need credit card and if you dont have credit card then there is a long list of documents to be submitted..

well so i found xoom... so does anyone here know more abt xoom and has ever tried it.. mainly in india... and tht can i accept payment directly in xoom.. as people do in paypal???

yes they need CC to verify but where u heard that they need documents.i had all documents and ready on net i had used documents to verify money bookers
so its easy for me but never heard that they accepts documents
i can get CC now but i dotn want to use CC in order to verify and its waste of money

Heard that they accept unverified paypal account... Also, there is other registrar that Godaddy and DomainSite

I already tried xoom but it's only for a 1 time transaction. yes, paypal users can also send the money thru xoom since paypal is powered by xoom..

You can withdraw funds from Paypal even if you don't have credit cards. but, it is limited.

Monthly you can withdraw maximum of 500 US Dollars
Maximum withdraw totally will be 3000 US Dollars.

You can request a cheque and it will be reached your place safely within 20-30 days by ordinary post. Not by Registered/Courier.

^ dongan is correct. What you'd have to do is get verified by adding and verifying a bank account (I once only used a savings account). Domains can be bought at DomainSite, iDotz, or several other places listed in this thread without a CC. You will not be able to accept payments from a CC without upgrading to a Premiere Business Account. If you cannot verify a bank account, I believe you can ask for a check like dongan said.

You'll need a US bank account though, but I don't think it's too hard to get an offshore one. As far as I know, around 60% of non-courier mail in India doesn't get to you safetly, so I'd reccomend getting a US bank, and wire transfer the money to your India bank...or transfer into paypal.

At least you have paypal in India, here in Romania paypal is not supported

we can get money fast through paypal and safely but my best option is moneybookers i always used them and never had a problem
