Hello :)

Well the situation is something like I am feeling like a rich beggar.

I have money some X's <<< Here

Now I went to my citibank and asked the lady that I want to send wire transfers. She said okay get your account details and proof that you are the account holder and I will sort it out.

Yesterday I went there the funds are over there allright but now she is telling me that I need to provide a quotation or an invoice of the goods I am buying only then I can send wire transfers. :'(

Which I tried to explain the situation to her and it all went bounce over her head.

Sedo, TDNAM, ESCROW and Afternic all have some limits after which wire transfer is required. As of now I have funded some purchases with credit card and am paying my the bills of it. Plus some paypal which I had earlier on account is also all spent.

Can someone please give me some ideas. Because my moneybookers is also not having much limit. It is 5K or so.

Sedo tells that after $500 and above they don't allow CC. Paypal is must. Can I fund my paypal with my credit card and then pay sedo with paypal?

Afternic also has issues with this.

Hi Nick,

I'm guessing that the lady's referring to the Sedo invoice (see: View Transactions section, click on domain and download pdf).

She needs certain info about Sedo (swift code, bank name, bank address, account name, account number, reference number, sedo's address) in order to process the wire.

As for paying by credit card, you can pay by credit card by going directly through the PayPal interface. When you go to make payment as you normally would, choose the log into your Paypal account option, enter your info and proceed through there.

Paypal screws you over on the exchange rate, so for large transactions you're better off going with a wire provided you can get it to work with that lady ;)

Just back from some other banks.

Everyone over here is just working to pass the time and trying to finish his or her 30 days and grab the salary. When I go to banks they tell me go to nationalized banks. When I go to nationalized banks where they boast that they are international bank and have internet banking and mobile banking and this and that. WTF and all. They tell me that Yes wire transfers can be received but cannot be sent. I think some vacancies will be open in some major banks before I am finished with this stuff.

Now 2 more banks I might be trying tommorow. Bank of India and State Bank of India.

Lets see.

BTW reece thankyou very much for that. I will do a smaller trasaction this way. If it goes well then its all right. If banks here again mess up I can always fund it via paypal. I don't want to mess up the deals and leave the seller hanging due to my banking issues. Thanks a lot Reece.

Weblord will xoom allow me to deposit the money directly into the sellers bank account?

And how will my xoom account be funded? From my bank? If yes then will I have to send wire transfer to xoom? Because this people are stunned when they hear the word "Wire Transfer"

I wrote an email to the head office and also inquired with my lawyer.

Then I had a fight with the manager. Told him that I will complain :)

Told him I want my account closed right now. And it was done :D
