Overview
Develop a game review script based on php/mysql that would rival game sites such as Game Spot, IGN, etc. (rival in features and functionality, I don't want to say clone because the idea is to be as unique as possible and still offer the features that people would expect to see)
This script would be sold to people interested in running a game site, we would make our money from selling the script, addons, and themes.
My Skills
I'm currently in school for web design/development, however I haven't started any classes yet on the development side as in learning php, etc. I have taken photoshop, web design, (various other classes non-related but required). I'm taking advanced web design next semester, and then next fall I will take the advanced Photoshop class.
My very first complete website designed with html/css can be viewed here, it was my final project for my beginner html class. (I'm currently uploading it, if you clicked on this link right after I posted this it won't fully load, it's about 175 mb to upload, there are several movie files in the site. It should be done in about an hour or so)
I'm not that great with creating my own images (I can modify them with Photoshop and after I take the next photoshop class I should be even better at it, however I can design html/css and stay xhtml compliant without any problems.
I still have 2 more math classes that I will complete next fall and spring and then I'll have all the requirements for the programming classes.
Background
I'm 32, married and have 2 kids, I don't work and I only take 2 classes each semester, so I have lot's of extra time to put towards other things.
What I'm looking for in a partner
I'm looking for someone who is knowledgable in PHP/MYSQL, javascript/ajax, etc. (someone with skills on the development side)
There is a certain way that some scripts are developed that makes it easier to skin templates that calls php where needed. (if you don't know what I'm talking about you probably don't have the required skills, however it may just be something that you need to read up on)
Current project that will help to promote our gaming script
I own and operate iGuildTemplates - I set this up to offer free gaming themed templates for joomla and I get between 40-60 unique views every day and the more templates I add the more traffic I get.
I do possess the skills to make templates from scratch, however I am able to make them for joomla a lot faster using artisteer (google it if you don't know it). For example it would take me about a week - 2 weeks to design a template form scratch. With artisteer I can do it in about 1 day, I will not use artisteer to make themes for our gaming script. I only do it with my guild template site becuase it takes a lot less time and I don't get much return $$ from the site, yet.

I'm also doing the same thing for movie templates, however I only have 1 template done for that site and I haven't officially launched it yet.
I have a reseller hosting account and I offer free and paid web hosting accounts to my site visitors (I have 3 members with free accounts so far)
My site has been up for aoub 6 weeks or so.
Our Competition
There are a few sites offering gaming portal scripts, however there is only one that will be our competition and it is CCMS - Professional Content Management - you can see a demo of their script at their site.
My Offer
Full 50/50 partnership to develop the gaming review script and any site that we put in our network like my guild template site.
