Parking Sedo v/s Bodis. Which and Why?

Of the two, Sedo and Bodis, where do you prefer to park and why?

What are the advantages and disadvantages you have come across for each recently, in past 6 months.

If you park at both, are there certain types of domains you prefer to park at Bodis and certain types at Sedo. If so, please elaborate.

Well, there are three things to take into consideration before parking anywhere imo.

a. earnings
b. customisation and platform's ease of use.
c. support

a. considering the earnings you get. I believe you need to judge for yourself what *your* domains earn on each platform.
My domains might behave completely different to yours, so whatever I say I earn on a parking service won't make any sense if your domains behave better/worst on another.

b. Here Bodis excels. The only disadvantage they have compared to Sedo is the lack of customised keywords but , from what I hear, they're working on that too.

c. SEDO = 0 . BODIS = 10 . Enough said

EDIT: voted 'both' btw. reason being to support my opinion about trying all services before you decide.

I like Bodis better. They have a slicker interface and automate most of the work for you. Sedo is too outdated IMHO.

I'd use Parking Crew and Voodoo before using either of these. Why? They pay way more. I do quite like Bodis's control panel. I really dislike Sedo's policy of only paying for the first click.

Depends on the domain itself i have a domain at sedo making 10 euro a month with a low appraisal.

For me, .in domains perform very badly at sedo and do OK at Bodis. i have a name with a good CTR and a got 17 clicks but $0.02 revenue total. Neither company can rescue every one of your domains.

Bodis is more flexible but Sedo is more experienced. I would say I prefer to Bodis.

I was making $100/month with sedo and up to $900 ish with Bodis.

If I want to sell a domain, I will put a nice for sale lander like Uniregistry or efty and avoid ads. They can confused potential buyers.

Yes true, but depends on the domain as well. If one has a good domain which gets inquiries then it really doesn't matter. In fact bodis is better. You can set up an inquiry page or a direct Escrow page with the price. If the buyer is really interested then they will go ahead and will proceed with the transaction. It happens. No hassle and NO commission to Sedo.

Any parking company > Sedo as far as PPC rev and landing pages from my personal experience.
Great/easy transfer/escrow processes and quick payout for when you get a sale but they really need to step their game up with their outdated landing pages. Well overdue.

Best for parking if you want rev/nice landers, Voodoo/Unireg

Is backlink important when buying a domain for PARKING?

@Pat077 Yes of course. How will get traffic to the domain without backlinks? But they should be quality backlinks. Not any old backlinks. Backlinks from a porn website, for example, are going to give you very low value clicks, if any. Checkout your domains at Majestic.com. You need backlinks for high paying keywords, like, insurance.

Everything about Sedo is complex and outdated. From their verification processes to parking. Listing domain there can be very tedious and confusing.
