Hi there,

I was just wondering about this:

If you use AdWords you will notice that ads with bids on keywords that are too low will only be displayed on content partners and not on Google search.

It would seem therefore that revenue from Adsense Search is more than the revenue from AdSense embedded in content.

Does this also mean that parking sites get more per click than developed sites?

Anyone investigate this or know more details?

I think that developed website is way better than parked domain , because developed websites ( if optimized well ) will generate a higher CTR than parked websites and also will have a better positions and results in search engines .. Dont forget, if you build your website content good will result to "return visitors" ..

Anyway, keywords in both cases (Parking , Developed) will be related to your domain name .. so it will have the same bid and may be higher in Developed case..

About that part , most of advertisers (im one of them) choose not to run their ads on content partners .. because search will get you a targeted visitor for your ad than a content website

EX:

Someone search for "buy ring"
Someone else just come across jewelry related website

Who will buy your ring ? but still you have to risk bidding higher on your keyword to get these clicks.. that what make search Bids higher than content websites..
