Parking newbie

Hy guys,

I'm new to this domain market, I want to start on this market but only in domain parking, of corse if I can get good deals selling domanais I will go for it.

By now I have only 3 domains, one is a Typo from a insurance company from portugal and that one gave me 20$ in 2 months, ot very much but is more than the double of its price!

The 2 left are still for tasting, I haven't found yet good names that can give me the same as the one!

Someone could help me find other good names?

my 20$ will be for invest in 2 more names, but it's very difficult to find a name that give me some money!

$10 a month is good to me. When you can have a domain pay for itself in one month, well, just imagine if you had 100 or 1,000 of those!?

If you are parking someplace where you cannot promote your domains, you are going to have to find ones that either are likely to be typed in by people, or that have existing traffic or links. In either case if you can get higher paying keywords on the domain, it will make you more money when someone does click.

You might try TDNAM to find domains. They list how much traffic the domains have gotten (althought I would not trust that to be 100% correct) and sometimes you can pick up domains that will work for as low as $5 + 1 year's registration.

Yes, my idea is having lots of domains giving me 10$ a month! But for now I've only found one that really gave me that, the others that i've tasted in 5 days gave me nothing

Currently I'm parking them at sedo, I've tried name drive but I think sedo pays better I will try it now. In name drive I couldnt promote my domain in Sedo I don't know. do you know?

for parking i've user namedrive there I couldnt promote my parked domains, now I'm trying sedo! Sedo allows promotion?

one more thing! how do I use that site? I searched for domains but it didn't list how much traffic the domains have gotten

I don't think SEDO allows promotion of the domains. There are only a few domain parking services that allow it. Make sure you check first and if you have any doubts, ask them otherwise they may close your account suddenly.

On TDNAM, look for the heading that says "Traffic". Click on that once, and then click on it a second time. This will sort the list by the amount of traffic, and the second time you click it should have the biggest numbers on top.

I checked the main list of domains when you first go to the site and none seem to have traffic. Try the "Closeouts" tab. I did that and then you should see domains with traffic. You'll have to hunt for domains that are not junk, but even the ones that are junk and have traffic COULD earn money if they are optimized to take advantage of that traffic.

Again, you have to pay the listed price, AND one year of registration. Also you won't get a full year, since Godaddy makes you pay from the time the domain had expired. This may be just with the "closeouts".

I've done that and now i see trafic, but this trafic is very low! my domain that gives me 10$ a month last month had 220 visits and 110 clicks...

If I want a domain I can wait and if nobody buy it until that remaining date (this only in the closeouts of corse) I can buy it after that only by the one year registration right?

the other 2 domains that I have and i'm tasting were bought at dynadot because there I can cancel a domain in five days if it don't gives me money. where can I do the same?

has I have 18$ at dynadot to buy domains I want to find 2 domains to park bought there first...

Yes, if no one buys the domain it will be later available for anyone to register, but you may have to wait for 30-60 days before it's dropped.

I think all registrars are suppose to allow you to get a refund for your domain within 5 days, minus a small fee, but most don't make it as easy as dynadot.

and at dynadot I don't have to pay any fee
