Parked .edu ?!

Is the first time when I see a .edu parked-domain.
Is it legal to park .edu domains?

Actually, doing a whois lookup on that domain, it looks like it expired in July of 2007, and never got renewed. So that's probably a generic expired-domain parking page with whoever the registrar is. Still does seem odd for an .edu though.
