Anybody out there doing better with different nameservers?

Nope. Everything is down across the board. FAB, DS, Sedo, etc....

I moved some "promising domains" to Fabulous the other day b/c initial test showed they paid out more. But after moving them over, every day the real high performers kept getting "SmartPriced" down by Google, I assume. One one domain in particular that is very high quality generic I was getting $1.30 a click for the first two three days with about 20-30 clicks a day. Each day afterwards in the last week saw the prices drop. It is doing .09 cents a click now. This domain's traffic is worth so much more it's sickening to see how Google smacks you down. Parked was paying around .45 cents per click before I moved it.

I'm told that at FAB that if you wait two weeks then Google starts readjusting prices upwards after it takes a look at your traffic. We'll see. If not, I am moving all back to Parked for now. Besides I want Yahoo to catch up with Google.

Well, looking on the bright side, at least our knowledge of geography has greatly improved from looking at the Traffic Analysis page. That's gotta count for something, and maybe Parked should even be accredited as an academic institution and charging us tuition for that kind of side benefit...

So, is there an 800 lb. gorilla in the room wearing a sign that says "Parking as you knew it is dead."?

Is parking more or less dead, except for those with the best type-in domains or those who can still profitably do arb somewhere?

These stat postings may be better than bad, but they are really just incidental anecdotes and anecdotal incidents. Copper's are even months old. I could come up with a few, too, but the real question is already plain to everyone - what's really going on and how are you doing overall? Are you getting anywhere, or just spinning your wheels with occasional spurts forward and sliding backward? If the big gorilla is really in the room, I doubt he's even begun to fidget yet or think about skulking out. Bottom line - where's the beef? Show me the beef. Show me that there's even still cows left in the field until we can get ready for dinner.

You are absolutely correct and I agree with you.
Consider my post as just wishful thinking as...
I wish all my RPCs are high just like those few occasional hiccups :D

I disagree. They are the least strict of any parking co. I have seen.

They allow you to do all kinds of custom stuff.

talking about "custom stuff" it would be nice if parked could have a little doc on their FAQ showing what domainers could do with that space(affiliate codes, youtube vids) . i just feel that area is underutilized, and could help us all out some way or another.

I tried to put a youtube vid in the custom area, trust me, dont even try it.

Yeah, I have often thought that a User Guide would be neat as I still find out from time to time there are things I don't know about the interface.

But does any parking co. have one? Maybe it's b/c things just change too damn quick in this industry and updating the Guide would be a real hassle.

Sorry Donny, I made it out to be youtube videos were not allowed. I got it on there just now though. I had to make a table same size as youtube video and then add flash into that. Doesnt work all that great to be honest, results in extra code from youtube you have to delete after saving but then it works.
