I really have no idea what is wrong with parked.com these days.

I am sending 'full' traffic to parked for last 5 days and the revenue just keeps tanking.

I am making almost 1/2 of what I made before.

Plus dealing with 1000s of bot clicks is not so fun.

I am thinking of temporarily changing servers to HF soon if this mess continues.....

We are seeing the bots as well. Additional traps are being put in place now.

I am very suspicious of these bot controls actually leading to deletion of genuine traffic/clicks because how else can one explain the meltdown in revenue/clicks especially after bot controls were put in place in last 1 week or so.

Btw, again I am sending 100% of traffic to parked for 5 days now and revenue just keeps going down....as explained above.

Yep, I got another one - 7 visits, and 36 clicks. I can understand the visits, but what are the damn bots doing that register as clicks?

Guess that explains my 2 clicks on a name I spent a few hundred on last year and those clicks were taken away.

Yesterday had a lot of views and zero clicks. Today not many clicks.

Afraid to say this here but the future of parking, parking companies reminds me of the dot com days and beginning to form. There will be a huge bust in ppc parking and parking companies. Not saying over night and the strong Will survive like parked, traffic z, fab but google and yahoo can easily one day say no more ppc. Then what? Domainers loose, parking companies loose, everyone takes a hit and the type in names. Sure it sounds far fetched but it could happen.

Actually, I think it would be a great idea if there were companies that developed, maintained and did SEO for names we own at no cost other than splitting the income and sales proceeds for that service.

Developed, maybe yes. But I wouldn't put too much time or effort into SEO for parked domains at this point; I'm pretty sure Google is moving them out of the SERPS.

Haven't posted here in some time... but would still like to see from parked:

• About 10-20 more characters allowed in the meta description field.

• Ability to name our customized images - ie - custom-name.jpg

• Some new template layouts

• Ability to have custom content on both the lander and inner page that are different from one another.

#1 shouldn't be hard. #2, probably won't be available because of #3. #3 will be available when it's ready and should resolve #2. #4, we axed the idea originally. I'll have to think about it some more. But then again, #3 should resolve it as well.

So,
I'm watching pretty closely a coupla days ago.
Getting a very good day going at Parked.
Sometimes I have between 3-12 clicks a day.
This day I have about 20 towards mid-day.
About an hr. later, all of a sudden I'm back down to 10.
WTF???
I'm finally starting to see what could be more then a 25 cent -$1.00 day,
then Bam!
So, I send in a trouble ticket, and today my rep. gets back to me,
and says they think there was a click bot, or something.
Why can't it just be possible that it was real ppl. clicking?
This whole Parking thing seems very weird to me.
I wish I knew how to tell the difference between ppl.
and some automated crap.
Oh well, I guess there is no way to actually know???
Maybe tommorow will be a better day.

Red Rock - For the past 2 days we have had more than 8 times the clicks that we do on a normal day. We stopped a large portion of them, but some of them we didn't. Basically it was definitely the largest botnet attack I have ever seen, but we figured out how to stop it today, and for now the problem has gone away.

If you look on some of the other forums you will see that other people were complaining about the 1 visitor 20 click problem or something similiar. We always pay exactly what we are told to pay. So even if we thought the click was fine or didn't think the click was fine we pay based on what our providers tell us.
