The TQS can grow up to 100? :o

I thought I was good with my TQS of 10...

nice TQ graph :) Although how reliable the recent figures are remains in question. From a 10 to a 6 to a 4 to a 5 in 2 weeks....lol

I'm back to a 10 :)

On another note...

Google just reported earnings below analyst estimates, looks like the slowing economy is hurting them to...
"The disappointment will likely amplify concerns that Google won't be able to sell as much online advertising -- the main source of its profit -- as consumers clamp down on their spending amid ominous signs of a recession in the United States"

Sorry, we are playing with the new TQ graphs which would be able to give you a little more insight into your historical numbers.

Google down $51 in after hours trading!

what is effect traffic quality score for my account?

As far as I has read in this topic it goes from 10 to 0 (or even below?). Its from Yahoo and because of it Yahoo is serving ads. Better ads for the higher TQS and lesser good to the lower. And the RPC is even slower I think when you have a low TQS.

Dont know if everything right...

Greetings!

If your quality score is around 3-4 then you should talk to your account
manager. He/she will give you help on how to bring it up.

Actually that would make a good topic of discussion if we can get
some input from Donny. What steps can we take to make sure we
are achieving the best QS possible...

If anyone at all has some knowledge of this please share.

I personally am thinking that traffic from outside US or Canada may
hurt one's QS.

I agree with you that we should get a little more guidance and at what point on the TQ table should we start to worry and start taking serious action.

....
My account rep says there's nothing he can help with in relation to my TQ. I just go with the obvious & restrict traffic to only US/Ca & UK

Here is thing though, People who have a TQ of 10, are not getting any better RPC than those with lower scores in this thread?

So what gives with the drastic change in RPC at Parked.com?

Until that is fully addressed, then i don't see that it really matters, every one has taken a HUGE drop in RPC at Parked.

There has yet to be a REAL answer to this?

I feel sure, Most know the situation with ASK.com, RPC has dropped from ASK feed, But not that drastically, I have names running at another parking service on ASK feed, the drop in RPC is from 0.03 to 0.06 per name, Not 50% and above, as many state in this thread.

Did anyone just see their finalized estimates for yesterday change? Earlier it looked
like the stats had been finalized even though the * was still there. Confirmed final
numbers in portfolio view. Then they changed again - took a bigger drop for me.
The darned * is still there - does this mean they could change again??

X - I think you are speaking for some people you aren't talking for all. You may be lower currently or you may not be, but more people are higher than you are hearing. I know if I was up 20% I wouldn't be here saying I'm up 20%. Sure there are some fluctuations in the estimates, we are working to address that, but some of it is because of how late Ask has been lately when finalizing stats.

Somebody the other day said this problem started on 1/4, I compared 1/3 to 1/28 yesterday and I had some interesting numbers. Overall RPC was up 1 cent. Overall clicks are up 5%. Overall Revenue was up 8%. Sure we do have more customers now than before, so maybe the revenue is just being spread thinner. But the overall RPC was higher than before.

When you really look at some of the accounts and compare them across different periods, not much has changed in most cases. The biggest thing is the estimates which we are hoping that we can make a little more accurate than they have been in the past.

Once stats have been finalized, They shouldn't change, For what reason?

Like i say above, The clients at Parked.com, Deserve a explanation as to why RPC has fallen on it's face.

If you are parking else where, And are on a Yahoo and Ask feed, Look at your stats, compare.

I am getting paid more than double for a name, that i moved from parked, onto a straight ASK feed, very strange.

I am using another parking service with STRAIGHT Yahoo feed, RPC is 30% better than Parked?

My YPN is as stable as ever, No reductions in RPC.

Don't trust "the portfolio hack", I told our stats guy to remove that yesterday, I guess he didn't.

Look at it like this. We have data from many different places that needs to be crunched. We start populating certain ones first, portfolios which gets updated first also gets updated 2-3 other times.

So until the * is gone, don't trust it.

I am trying to understand all this Donny, But it is hard, when i take a name to an ASK feed, That was at Parked, I was getting 0.14 a click at Parked, I get 0.32 at the other company, and that on an straight "ASK" feed.

I took a name that was paying 0.43 at Parked, Moved it to parking service that is "straight Yahoo feed", The name gets $1.83 a click

kingdolar - The TQ score is in one case used as a discounting tool. So if you have a TQ of 10, then the advertiser should have to pay the full price for any clicks that you send to them. On the other extreme if somebody is a 1 then the advertiser will get a discount of original price * TQ discount. So if a click was $1.00 and you are a 1, that means the advertiser will pay less, I don't know the exact numbers, but I have seen it vary from only having to pay 90 cents to 50 cents for the click.

Anything from a 1 to a 3, Yahoo doesn't like and you definitely need to improve or one day you will receive an email from me or our traffic quality team. Your account manager should be able to work with you on improving your score if you are in this range.
