It is a little harsh, I think. Some of us (supposedly) have high TQ scores still, but have seen large and sudden drops. It's not unreasonable to wonder what is going on.

Some of the parking companies have come up with a way to better recognize bots. I've seen my overall traffic decrease at SedoPro, Parked, and Fabulous, but my CTR has gone up and revenue is about the same.

I had 3 names with an RPM over $1000 today. They just chopped 80 clicks off of one, I guess the other two are next to go.

Tomorrow the new TQ scores come out, but I will not be around in the morning as I will be going to visit our friends at Yahoo to see what is going on. One of our programmers is currently in the process of getting the TQ scores added to the front page once you login. I would say I would just post his phone number so everybody could call him, but I don't think he would get it done any faster. So I would expect that to be available either tomorrow or Friday at the latest. And over the next week or so you will see some of the new graphing features we will be working on as well where you can see a historical TQ score view.

And for all of you .mobi nuts, we should be .mobi compliant by the end of the week, hopefully.

We have seen a bot the past 2-3 days that has been clicking on a few random domains. If you have a domain that normally doesn't get much traffic and it all of a sudden gets 100 hits and 200-300+ clicks, don't expect to get paid for it. Sorry.

Now to go pack. I will probably check on everything later tonight and tomorrow morning, but not until I back from my meeting tomorrow.

Parked.com Anomalies

I too see one of my domains that usually gets little or no traffic, today has an RPM of $8,100. and a CTR of 5,400%.

I am also seeing this pattern of 3 days of reasonable changes in revenue for EOD vs Final followed by a fourth unreasonable day. Yesterday my Final revenue dropped 10% compared to EOD.

There is definitely something odd going on starting Jan. 5th (for me anyway).

Another interesting item: I asked my Account Manager what my TQS is now, and he said I do NOT have a TQS right now, but I should have one by next week. My last TQS was 9 on Jan. 5th.

Could this all be related to Yahoo changing their TQS formula? Could this explain all the strange numbers lately?

RPM of $1000 or even $15000 is not unreasonable on a per domain basis. Many loans or insurance or other domains will do that but generally traffic is low to these domains unlike ringtones etc.

But if you see 1 visitor and 79 clicks or 3 visitors with 117 clicks, then of course something weird is going on

Just as I was posting on the previous page about anomalies in the numbers and TQS recently, Donny must have been entering his about: "...I will be going to visit our friends at Yahoo to see what is going on." I guess this kind of confirms that there are some strange goings on recently.

Well, I had an exceptionally high CTR on one of the domains, but they have since cleaned out the bot traffic and its back to normal.

So, we are ALLOWED to place affiliate ad code in the custom content section of or Parked domains? Is that true, and this does not violate the Parked TOS?
