Some good improvement with the new features. This should help speed up editing domains. I liked the drop down menu for domain editing. Makes things faster. It would be nice if we could add extra characters like quotes etc for the domain title. Currently, each time I try to add a domain title within quotes, it gives me strange outputs.

Is there something going on with the images? I adjusted one of my domains: DWI.cc - now the images, which show up fine in the site preview are actually broken and disappear on the live site. Same goes for other adjustments, that even though the "Changes are Saved" are not propagating onto the live site.

Anyone else experience this?

Mike, what I notice on your DWI site is too many line spaces between paragraghs. This has happened to me before.

I customized one site an hour ago and presently it shows a diferent image, which is actually nicer IMO. Another site customized 30 minutes ago, I saved the changes I made and a little latter I had to redo it again as it actually did not save the changes. Now it appears to be OK.

sihar07 - We are considering lowering the minimum for international wires, but you must remember even when some of the others have a $1,000 minimum, they don't pay twice a month like we do.

Biohammer - I personally had not fully tested the new features before the went live. I will make sure some changes are made in the morning to make things a little easier to use.

1. I have been entering some like: Loans , Loan , easy loans , fast loans

2. I know another parking service that likes you to combine keywords that are together with a + sign then just a space between the next different keyword. So it would be like: Loans loan Best+Loans Bad+Credit+Loans

3. I've seen others want the comma connected to the end of each keyword and then the space, like: Loans, Loan, Best Loan, Fast Loans

From what I read, the SEs don't really consider keywords any longer in that box. It's much more important to put a Meta description (up to 100 and something characters long) and the Title Tag.

Donny, I looked at someones parked domain that was posted here and on the custom part they wrote "USE THE LINKS ABOVE! " Are we allowed to make comments that are esentaily begging a viewer to click, I am sure all of us would like to type in phrases like that on our domains. lol

Marketing 101 - Call to action. Maybe a bit overstated, but in the end, nothing but a call to action. If you have any questions regarding marketing, calls to action, target groups, definition thereof, etc. feel free to PM me.
90%+ of all Google/MSN/Yahoo, etc. ads contain calls to action, including my own.

Talking about it I have seen loads of Bodis customised sites which encourage clicks with words like "Feel free to browse the section on the left" , "visit our advertiser to find out more" and "click the link to find out more" .. Although I have personally not tried it I see no reason why that should not be allowed.. I thought that was the whole point of letting people customise site so that they can make it look real and encourage clicks.isn't it ?

Also I was thinking about the arbitrage. ? Donny are we allowed the content network ads or we are allowed just search campaigns...Because The other day I saw a google ad here on namepros leading to a parked page..

Yeah if you look at them instantly they will appear broken...but if you flush your dns or just clear the cache or kill the explorer once and restart then it will be ok...It is just you that the image is broken but for all others it is good....

TIP : Instead of restarting your computer every time for changes to take place after installation just kill the explorer.exe and restart the explorer.exe

Go to ctr+alt+del ----> go to processes --->kill explorer.exe
Go to applications ---> new task ---> explorer.exe

Same as restarting your computer

I been with parked for 5 months now. A lot of downs but had my best 2 weeks so far

Learning the ropes, customization things and etc.

I have noticed a few of my domains have empty meta tag in the spaces.
I thought when you bring names over it fills them inn?

I love my rum cakes and for instance I have cheaprumcakes.com and cheaprumcakes.net. In this case it filled out by parked rum cakes.

Still learning the ropes and changing keywords around but now I am seeing 20 views a day. Yes I know, its chump change.

I am in the toner and print supply business. I was trying to customize a picture of an hp toner cartridge. Would be cool if you could jpg. Into it site, the system resizes the picture for you so its proper size

Also. Have you guys ever considered a rss feed to everyones keyword on that domain and put it as news on front page

For instance.

Say keyword is

Cars

Front page would be car news

Then the rss feed shows various newswire on cars

In this area it would have small ads on a side or sides of web page.

Draw more people to spend more time on your site.

Now the twist to things. I have a lot of names with you. Have to sort through the entire list, revise things and learning curve.

Have you ever considered what imodo.com or domainer or domain embarking. Video, eccomerce, affilates , product eccomerce? Just curious.

I will start reading more posts by you and people like varon. I learn so much on this thread vs my sales rep. Sorry donny. If I get more volume, I hope I can get some answers lol

I am not earning much with parked yet. I had my best 2 weeks with parked and think I am catching on a few things and learning curve. I am new to the business. Being a business owner and having a 10,000 to 15,000 new york account buying hp toners through me do you honestly think I would not offer a discount? Come on. I always take care of my big accounts first over smaller accounts.

If a domainer is bringing parked 1,000 clicks a day vs 5 clicks a day your expecting the 5 click person to earn what the big boy is? The big boy would leave parked and go elsewhere.I support the big players at parked and parked needs them. You and I should be lucky to be with parked! That's my take. Sure I get down seeing .04 cent clicks or 10 cent clicks. I witnessed .75 clicks on a site a few days back. Learning this a couple days ago, its motivating me to work harder on my sites. Take baby steps. 20 views now, come jan maybe 100 views and move up from there. Then the more eye balls you get, hopefully the ctr increases. With me my ctr is low. Another learning curve.

Just my 2 cents. I didn't see the back end of parked besides being on my crackberry and at work tonight. That new york account left me so now have this wonderful dead end job at night. Life goes on.

I think the click button should be designed with different colour, same way like hyperlink design.

Thanks johnname. Surly has not been easy. Learn new things each day. Only so much time in the day lol. Seriously need to get a wirless broadband card for my laptop so I can do more work while I get paid at my other job.

So John, what works for you and etc at parked? Do you customize things, colar formats and etc. I forgot where the info was but there has been a research thing on types of colors on sites that generate a higher ctr but can't find it.
