Maybe in a few weeks you will have the ability to say that you want version 1 to show on the landing page and version 2 to show on the results page.

Since we can add content and even video (Thanks Donny, this is beyond great now! :tu: ) how will this effect indexing of our domains? Are the search engines going to pick up and rank our domains with custom content or will they still be "shunned" parking sites?

Donny, can you give us some insight regarding custom content and search engine indexing? I wonder whether i'd be adding the content solely for the pleasure of the type in visitor to increase the probability of CTR or if the SEs are going to list my domains now as a content site?

Added an option called Format. Which includes formating of text information h1, h2, etc...

It seems every loves the movie option. Sorry about the warnings if you are using IE, but we just couldn't get rid of them.

I'm not 100% sure how Google will handle the content yet. They do index it without any problems. But we only tested it on about 10 domains before launching and never really checked to see how they were doing before hand. I think everybody will know how it helps in about 1-2 weeks when Google has reindexed all of the domains with content.

W00T!! ! I'm much happier about that than about the movies (movies are "eye candy", header tags make yummy "spider food" )!

Any restrictions/guidelines on what we can or cannot link out to?

A good rule to follow about the content is don't make it tacky. Another rule is consider that advertisers may come to the site to look at site to check the quality of the domain. And no link farms!

I would rather not come up with rules for people and tell them what they can and can't do. I want you to be innovative just like we have to do.

packrat - Right now there is no option to add via html or to add javascript. But you can save for example create a page in dreamweaver or something similiar, preview the page and copy and paste the generated page. If you need an example, I can give you one real quick.

Also - Any reason why other people seem to have 1 click landers and I
have 2 click? (example - accesshollywood.ca) I just joined a couple of days
ago so may have missed something

You might consider capitalizing the "H" and "T" in helicoptertraining.info
Might help with CTR.

Hi, Donny - thanks for this great new feature. Can your parking method make a difference in the search results placement? For instance, I've noticed that with domains I have at Parked.com for which I used framing but no description meta, Google has included the material on the Parked.com page to which the frame refers. Would it stand to reason then that Google would count this newly added custom content the same way for framing (which I prefer for some domains), the cname method, and using the Parked.com nameservers? Would url forwarding get the same treatment, too? This is something I've been wondering about for some time because I really want to keep some framing in place, but not if it means getting worse search engine placement than another method.

SDX and advaita, thanks for your advice, i fixed the typo, but can't seem to convince the system to capitalize the "H" and "T" in helicoptertraining.info - it auto sets everything to lower case.

IB, it shouldn't be like that...are you pressing "edit" and then the "file in" button??

IntelBank - I think what they mean is that you edit the domain title.

Domain Title: helicoptertraining.info

And change it to HelicopterTraining.info

Web Trader - Personally from a search engine standpoint, DNS, A records and cname are the best routes to go for SE traffic. Frame does have a little disadvantages, but since I'm not SEO genius, I don't want to really explain why it would be not as helpful using frames for that reason

My CTR and revenue has dropped so much I'll have to try and contact Donny or someone at parked no later than Monday.. Something is baaad wrong with my numbers.

I don't cry wolf.. I only complain when something is for sure not right and I'm now at 50% rev and clicks to where I should be and was. It's on Parked's side not mine....I know this because I switched the NS and verified the clicks are incorrect for some reason.

I want to grow with Parked but I can't afford this any longer than Monday for now.

Two-thumbs up to this idea. Even better for the search engines having unique content on each page.

Question though - are the ads that display in any way influenced by the text content we put in there like a regular contextual add on a personal website, or is it solely keyword based from our admin panel?

Donny, can i have you or anyone from your support team look into the domain settings, because everytime i try to administer these changes, the domains set itself back to all lower caps. HelicopterTraining.info with caps "H"&"T"" doesn't fly for some reason. Maybe you can shed some light on it. I was about to reset the domain, would rather wait for you to let me know whether that's what i should try.

Forward domain name

Does Parked allow you to forward one domain to another as long as the names are relevant? example...Could I go to Godaddy and forward goodLoans to BestLoans so BestLoans got all the traffic?
