try again United-Arab-Emirates.com

testament to parked pages, i haven't even added any extra content to parked page and check alexa and pagerank

now check the unhyphenated version

:sold: :sold: :sold:

I should have explained a little better.....On Alexa it shows a thumbnail for and info for emas.com when you put in United-Arab-Emirates.com, not your parked page which means your name might have been pointing to it and obtained the same rank and thumbnail http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details/United-Arab-Emirates.com

Very strange. EMAS.com also has the very same Alexa Rank in my Alexa Toolbar when I go to the domain EMAS.com....... How many visitors do you average a month on United-Arab-Emirates.com? Is it close to 6,484? Because that's the number that shows on the parked page EMAS.com. And how on earth did you get a PR of 3 with only 4 backlinks!?! I wish I could do that. :)

the way reverse hijackings go these days, even for someone that wipes their arse on £50 notes :sold: and can afford it, no guarantees.
its an ancient generic so should be safe but will just wait for an enduser one day but i will develop at some point later this year, have tons on now.
had it for quite a long time and did nothing with. i certainly won't sell to domainers :sold:

Guy, I would suggest to capitalize the first letters (U A E). :)

Anybody but me having an unusually slow day today? Even on Fridays I usually have a little traffic, but my stats haven't moved for hours and hours.

I'm having the complete opposite - ctr is almost 80% still this late into the day with normal traffic levels!
D-:

... sadly it's mostly people getting their friday pron fix! LOL

Lol. I have noticed a big drop over the past two days in CTR. However, like you said, my one big pron name is still averaging a plus %100 CTR....

BTW- have you customized all your parked pages? I can never seem to break the 30%-40% CTR.... however, I have really only spent the time to customize probably 80 domains or so.... a meek 5% of my domains at parked.

On the plus side though, I have noticed many of my affiliate custom sites going up in the past week. Had one do over $150 in affiliate sales yesterday. Which means that perhaps people are starting to spend money again. I think the economy in the shape it is in has affected revenue across all types of sites... Whether parked, affiliate, mini-sites, ect.

I fine tune the heck out of them. I do keyword research to make sure I'm using the best possible titles and descriptions - and will go back and change those that don't seem to be doing well.

I've also noticed a surge in affiliate sales across a number of niches. Maybe better times are a coming.

The numbers for Friday, were actually above the previous Friday. Those are finalized numbers, just the estimates.

Donny, could you please give some information about the 1 page lander concept. When does a name at parked.com get the 1 page lander? When the name is getting lots of type in traffic, or the name has good keywords, or ..?

Thanks,

looking forward to hearing from you

Friday was great - even with a porn clickie crowd my RPM was $154.21!

If you are not parking with parked.com - you are not parking. Especially those of you with .ca's! :tu:

luffo -1 click vs 2 click is definitely an art not a science. First it depends on what country you are in. Then it depends on what the keyword is. Then how many advertisers. It depends on the quality of the domain. And it depends on the volume the domain brings in. Once you combine all of these things together, Yahoo decides if your domain will be a 1 click or 2 click. Some people here could probably tell you how to buy a 1 click domain very easily. Unfortunately I really can't as I know a 1 click will make less in the long run than a 2 click domain. But that's for another day.

I am able to input keywords now, musta been a temporary glitch, another problem I seem to be having is the actual updates are exactly the same payouts as estimates, which most days is frustrating because it seems like days i get clicks on names that ordinarly make .50-1.00 that the update stays the same at .13 rather than increasing the total. anyone else have similar results?

fatter - The estimates are based on a few things, but mostly it's the past 5 days of history for that particular domain. So if you averaged 30 cents per day the past 5 days on a particular domain your estimate should be very close to the that average for today. If it is a brand new domain or it has less than 5 days of history in the past 5 days, then we will use a few different defaults. Our goal is to also be 1-2 cents higher or lower on the estimates after a few days.

But that's based on the keywords that have been on he domain for the past 5 days.

....depends on what country you are in..... domainer's country or visitor's country?
....I know a 1 click will make less in the long run than a 2 click domain.... why is this so?

Thanks donny, I just thought it a little strange that estimates were exactly the same as final numbers even the exact per click rate, but I just switched some names back and have only been using parked again for about 5 or 6 days.I imagine it was the default that you spoke of.

Can I do something against 404s?

Do Parked offer the service to optimize pages? For example for domains like ake7.com where no keyword can be found?

Greetings!
Sebastian
