netmeg - We only remove clicks when we have verifable proof that a click was done by a bot and we have banned that bot. Right now we have one of those bots that is currently floating through the system and it's driving us nuts. But I should have it resolved sometime tomorrow.

Yeah mrizos, meanwhile should be worth atleast a couple million if not more. I saw it appear in my portfolio. Earlier in the thread, whitebark too saw it arrive in his portfolio. . We might need to share the sale proceeds as joint owners.

Oh dont worry about it...I see it often on my list...You keep the domain if it appears highest no of times then I would win....I wouldn't even mind selling the domain and keeping the money based on the ratio of no of times it appears in your folio...

I wish I could be like you..But I sure do work 18 hours a day. Hitting dashboard at Parked and namedrive and Parking panel(Log in 2 -3 times a day to analyse , see and feel happy).

I want to start working on the domain but have been waiting if Donny puts anything through about domain customization.Also I am still checking the parked customization thread to see if anything really hits me as an idea.


I am lazy. Hey I am the Lazy domainer. :hehe: Just dont make 18000 $ a month just registering names.

How This Works.

Reply to this thread with the name of the person you want to give the free domain to and WHY. You CANNOT nominate yourself for this gift.

Just before Christmas I will pick the post that gives the best reason for why that person deserves a domain. I will register the domain and push it, completely free or charge

Ok, another question. Looking at the traffic analysis for some of my domains, I see that some of them show 25 to 50% "TYPE IN OR NO HOSTNAME". Is this kind of a catch-all for whatever doesn't show a specific referrer for some reason? Cause it seems unlikely to me that anybody'd be typing these names in; I know that often browsers mask referrers and whatnot. Just wondering - the numbers for this category seemed unusually high to me.

netmeg - Yes, type in or not hostname means that we just didn't get a referrer for the click. It could have been the brower, a type-in, or whatever.

This has been discussed before, but I haven't seen it mentioned in a while. Basically the way meanwhile.com works is that if you get a click or even just a visitor that Parked is not sure where it actually came from, rather than guessing which domain got the visitor, it shows up in your account as meanwhile.com. We are not supposed to lose any visitors or clicks from this. I am not sure, but I think that certain offensive names may get forworded to the actually meanwhile.com site. If you have an adult domain that experiences the same issue, it will show up as mustangranch.com instead of meanwhile.com. Donny can verify this or correct me if I got anything wrong.

It was meant as a compliment. I've found many of your posts in this thread informative, as I am very new to Domains, Parked, etc.. Especially some of your thought/discussion about adding content to the parked pages and whether or not it would help any. So thanks. And I should really stay out of the way and listen for awhile.

This thread is awesome. I just parked (5 days ago) my first 190 domains at parked.com and found that when I hit the "traffic analysis" menu, all I get used to get is 100% meanwhile.com from Tanzania. I haven't heard back from my account manager about this issue, but today, nothing at all shows in the map inside traffic analysis.

Does it take a while for these reports to work? Or is there something different about the traffic that my domains get?
