Guys, If any of you are still with NameDrive, you are being short sold.....having loads of clicks that produce a big fat zero or 1 & 2 cent clicks.....that was happening with me....

Since I moved to PARKED, my average click payout over a month has been 32 cents per click, my largest single click, $6.73!!!

Stop wasting your domain names, PM me and I will give you the code to get started.....

You need at least 10 domains to start.....and here is what I would suggest , take at least 5 of your largest earners and switch them over to PARKED. That way you can measure your performance at Parked against whereever you are currently parked.

In case you are thinking I work for Parked, I do not. I am a .TV investor, and you will see hundreds of posts in the .TV forum...

But I cant help but think how much I have lost in parked revenue in the year I had it parked anywhere else but Parked. I dont want anyone else to do the same loss.

Where you choose to park DOES MATTER!!! B-)

OK further to my earlier post Donny from parked.com got in touch with me and they reconsidered their decision. Now I'm in :hehe:
That's customer service :)

Getting acquainted with their system.
I have added a few selected names with low EPC @ Sedo and the results are encouraging :tu:
However it seems that not all names are accepted, some of my domains have been categorized as controversial B-)
Probably not all names will do well with parked but I have the feeling some of my domains will be getting a second life :)

Don't get so happy.

A few clicks on typo or trademark typos and you're going to be OUTTA there as fast as you never been before.

Some type of domains perform good there, most don't. And that's if they don't get banned within a week.

I have found parked.com disappointing so far
Hey bro...
So have I, and now that the affiliate link has been removed, the cheerleading squad might reevaluate as well. Although they do allow multiples, which can make aworld of difference to certain catagories.

We really only have fair/good/excellent generics at Parked, no trademark typos, and they perform well for us. Straight-up fast service, payouts every two weeks, great photo templates (the best I have seen anywhere), multiple clicks, the fastest and best uncluttered access to your statistics of any of the interfaces, respectable payouts on foreign traffic (where TOS allows) - What's not to like unless you are a trademark typo junkie?

In regards to some folks saying some domains are not performing well there: Move them and leave the others. Yahoo sometimes does not have the breadth of advertisers to perform well in certain categories or terms. But other domains that are on target will shine with Yahoo's feed at Parked.

Parked.com has always been in good standing with us.

i think if you are having that much clicks you better develope that domain and put adcense, bidvertiser or whatever. you would make much more, unless it is not an adult one.

Have to agree with the above.

I have had 62 name with PARKED. One is called MEMBERSONLY.TV - In England "members only" always refers to a gentlemans club (with seedy connotations!) but in America, apparently its a fashion TM ....so I cannot have it at Parked. I have SAX.TV - which for some reason is getting dreadful PPC - 1cents average, (probably mostly foreign traffic) so moved it back to NAMEDRIVE.....the other 60 names I have parked though - KICK ASS!!!

Nothing will ever be 100% perfect, and as Premium has pointed out, no one pareking company can claim to be the best in absolutely every single department, but, PARKED.COM has by far, by very far, outshone all the rest by a mile OVERALL.....

I turned down a really nice traffic name yesterday, that was making $30 a day - because of TM issues, and basically, if I can't park it at PARKED, I am not buying.........

Since somebody brought up trademarks, I thought I would pass on a little story. I know 4 or 5 of the largest domain tasters in the world, we are talking about people who own over a million domains each. All of them don't care what type of domains they register except for one. I was talking to one of them 2 weeks ago that doesn't care which domains they register, and he told me they get 20-30 udrp complaints per day. He also said that they get 5-10 lawsuits per day. And these were all because of trademarks mainly. So I recommend staying away from all trademarks especially for all new purchases.

About 8 months ago we really started cleaning up our own portfolio of trademarks, because we were getting some lawsuits and a few udrp's as well. But then the day came I had to delete hondaaccord.com which was making close to $150.00 a day, we had bought the domain on snapnames for like $6k. It was a bad day, we lost revenue and a good domain. But if Honda would have come in we would have lost a whole lot more than $150.00 a day.

Strange that I should sign up today and then notice this thread..

Listed 10 names in my application but didnt realise it was a case of we may or may not accept you or I may have been alittle more choosy with my choices..

Oh well time will tell if they say yes or no.......

Donny, HondaAccord.com is indeed an amazing name, shame its gone, hopefully at least Honda is going to use it, if not than its even bigger shame. So if there was no lawsuit, how did you know you have to delete it?

Yup, nice site Parked.com

And one of, I think 2, that take a Y! feed. Obviously, the main pro to this are that YPN is not succeptable to google smartpricing (that nasty beast that punishes every chancer who thinks they can beat the system by sending in BS traffic to their parked domains). The con is that being fed by YPN means limited advertisers covering a limited number of topics. Your contextual ads therefore wont be as direct as a site feeding you google links for instance.

Its a swings and roundabouts kind of argument and one that depends upon the quality of your domains. Most people in domaining for a short while do switch and change frequently and count the nickel and dime differences between companies - when infact almost all parketeers give the domainer a very similar basic percentage share of the click revenue.

If your domain has a nice amount of natural traffic then im surprised you see any difference, if you have questionable traffic then im not surprised you see a spike when parked at a Y! fed company.

People with large traffic portfolios simply negotiate with the parking co's ref the % revenue share.

If your not attempting any lame black hat techniques to drive traffic to your domains then theres an obvious way to see if your falling foul to Google Smartpricing, simply visit your parked domain and check the URLs of the ads that show. If your keywords are for "life insurance " e.g. and the ads that show are proper life insurance companies then you should be ok, if you see other parking pages as your links such as top10shops.co.uk/lifeinsurance e.g. then these sites are buying adwords for a few cents a click, which in turn means your share of this is pants. Not that the parking company is ripping you off.

:)

I have been testing names in different places for a little while and.... basically none have or look like making me rich.. :hehe: some do better with different names so ive left them where they have performed best for me ..

I have parked a few of my names (not big traffic) with parked and will see but.... im sure like the rest it will show again.. some may do better there some not...

Sometimes imo with parking maybe after the time it takes to optomise.. leave it there for the few pennies difference its not worth the hassle but im open for parked or anyone else to prove me wrong and make me rich :)

So let's sum it up which domains could be moved to Parked:

- No trademark domains
- Domain should have a popular specific topic to have enough relevant ads
- American traffic is good
- Relatively low traffic names can perform better

Anything else?
