I thought I would pick it up just because of the huge surge of paid posting services. Is it worth anything or should I hold on to it?

As far as a name alone - no. As a developed site yes. But there are more than 40+ services at any given time. There was even to my count 60+. I know this from experience, I run Paid Post Help & Info. I am in the process of revamping the list. Because so many come and go or are just sold and than redirected(the URL/website) to another paid posting service.

A partial listing of paid posting services.

The first site I sold at $850 after 2 months. But the SEO work was excellent and was indexed usually with the 1st 2pages of Google and Yahoo.

The second sold for $220 after 2 months. Not much SEO work was done and the profit margin was smaller.

Paid Posting services are only worth anything if they are developed and have shown some profit.

I also picked up a 3rd paid posting domain(1st time of buying a pp domain - I usually thought of my own name). I bought it in a auction for $15 or $20. The previous owner had gone to several forums and the highest appraisal he received was $35 and it is a .com.
