Package Deals?

Hi,

I'm a newbie and have a question that hopefully someone can help me with. As I'm buying domains and selling them - is there any value to picking up say a dot com, dot net, dot org for the same domain name?

Is there any way to market such as a package deal or how would I advertise that I have the others?

Generally speaking, it pays to have the package of com, net, org if you can afford it. When the alternatives to .com are all taken, the .com is worth more money. But to sell as a package, it adds just a little value. Just make sure it's a hot name and worth all those reg-fees. Chances are, any name that still has all 3 still available probably isn't that hot. Of course, they expire every day too, so you could get lucky and find a nice package of all 3. I've seen sales like this several times, even owned a couple. I've seen them sell for $15, $30, $200 and more. It depends on the name and the market for that name, or the value of the keywords in it (EMD's).
I personally would never register more than a .com unless it was something amazing.
