Well, so much for trust, I guess! As part of the eBay auctions for this site, the owner promised to keep the links active for at least two years. Alas, the site has been down for months in spite of multiple successful sales via eBay. Too bad, as it was a good idea. Since he stated up front it was not permanent, but rather for a few years, he could have had an ongoing, successful little enterprise that gradually grew in value as the page rank grew.

I just hate the idea that someone got money out of me for nothing.

Unless your order is a large sum they wont bother with it. They arent going to kill themselves over a few bucks.

I first heard about the site through Namepros, where the owner, Daniel, discussed the site design. His NP name is Xepio.

I sent a note to him requesting an update, but have not heard back.

It's okay if he has had some financial difficulties and will make things right down the road , I was just looking for some reassurance from him that he is going to continue the site.
