$2.06 at NameCheap.
Don't forget about ICANN fee.

p.s. Difference is significant if we are talking about 100 or more domains...

Sure is and thanks for sharing. I meant it's not that big of a deal when compared to the previous $0.99 ORG promo which I missed :(

.ORG is $3.17 at 1and1 a few months already... incl. Transfer.
And unlimited quantity.

1and1 NEVER again, thanks.. They are the biggest crooks in the industry. Had the worst nightmare experience when I bought a few domains a year ago, they suspended all of them for no reason at all. I wasted days and days just to reach them and when I finally found someone "competent" to talk to he said I was a fraud and hang up on me?! I was most certainly not and he never even explained why and how he got that conclusion.

So yeah, lesson learned, stay far far away from 1and1 even if they are free..

I work with 1and1 ~8 years already...
No problems for me.

I have around 1000 domains across 30-40 registrars with all kinds of TLD extensions, never had any even remotely similar issues anywhere. I read a few reviews about them at the time, my case was not isolated. Based on all reviews about them I'd say your case is unique. :)

I can complain only on full lack of bulk management at 1and1...

During these 8 years I have and had 2,XXX domains cumulatively with 1and1...

Regarding their antifraud checks...
Yes, they really don't like any suspicious operations and users...

Using cheap domain at 1&1 you must be very lucky to get no any problem. 90% of my friends got crazy with this provider, lol
Besides, hot and cheap promotion always has limitation and usually for US & CA customers. I don't like this. (n)

p.p.s. One of my friends (from London) is also using 1and1 a few years already... for regs and transfers...
And I never heard any complaints from him, except the mentioned bulk management.

I had domains here but have to transfer out all of them. Many of people I knew were being charged with many hidden fees aftering registering 99 cents domains.@@

By the way, folks who got 99 cents .ORG at Name.com remember to us code PRIVACYPLEASE to get domain privacy for FREE

No any hidden fees there.

If you are talking about the autorenew bug - it was fixed in 2017.
