really depends on the name and what you plan to do with it to be honest.
Also whether the .com is developed will have an impact too. For example, TM issues and the fact that people will accidentally type in .com instead of net.
If you plan to develop, the .com isn't developed and you know a little SEO, then .net can perform just as well as the .com if not better. I have a few .nets that rank top in yahoo and google for there appropriate keywords.
In some cases .org can be better than .com for non-profit or charitable names.
not really...it entirely depends on the keyword. no doubt, .com is the best out there as its probably one of the oldest extensions but then again, there are a lot of ccTLDs such as .in, .me, .co.uk that are, if not equally, quite famous...
dont waste money hand regging a .net or .org domain. if you want to invest in those extensions thats fine but buy solid ones from the aftermarket. if you are going to develop then you might as well reg a .com that is similar to something premium you would want such as adding 360 to the end of the keyword or something.
It depends to how good the words are, plus if you have any plan to develop it.
If you don't have a backup plan to develop it just in case you can't sell it to someone else, don't take it :imho:
.coms are always better and always will be... but .net is good if you like second best. Personally not a big fan if I'm making business out of it. .Org... I think non-profit.
