I woke up at 4:30 AM this morning (baby crying) and sat in front of my computer screen while still a little groggy, I had an idea, a rather dumb idea at that. Now I’m the proud new owner of another crappy domain name.

Have you ever had one of those moments when your judgment was somewhat askew? A time when you register a domain name only to realize a few days later that you have no use for it, it won’t get any traffic and it’s so undesirable you couldn’t possibly hope to ever receive an offer for it?

If you answered yes to either question, please post your worst domain registrations here.

To get things started here are some of my “less desirable” domain registrations:

Fusaichi-Samurai.com (Don’t even think about asking me why I got this one) :cy:

CasinoEvil.com (Get it? Hear no evil, stop laughing at me) :red:

BioAccount.com (I blame Grrilla for this one) :alien:

CashGoldBox.com (How did that get into my account? It’s not even grammatically correct)

Pope16th.com (Because everybody else was doing it and I’m too embarrassed to sell it on eBay) D-:

PrePaidSurveys.com (Now, this just doesn’t make any sense) :music:

Apprized.com (It’s a real word, I promise. It means to appraise or value but it’s still a stretch)

Uh-oh

I once bought proclivities.com, earrested.com (everyone thought it had something to do with ears), and punies.com.

Anyone in this racket has done that a time or two. I now force myself to do a spellcheck before hitting the checkout button. I've had a couple names right up to the renewal date before I realized it was a typo. Another I had three years before I found out it was a typo, and found all my life I'd thought buoyancy was spelled bouyancy.

Domaining has definitely improved my vocabulary, and my spelling (or at least my willingness to use a dictionary).

I aint that rich to throw money away on names without thinking :p drab.info would be my most useless one.

Man, that is one of the worst things i can think of. Making a typo or spelling mistake of a domain name :P

I rushed in on ClickStar domains after reading about the press release by Intel and Morgan Freeman, in my first week of domaining. And then I found out there was such a thing as "trademark".

Here are two more of my beauties.

TheMandolay.com (I can’t take credit for this one, not that I’d want to either) :(

Fuged.com (I can’t decide if I want to develop a forum with it or delete it from my account) :'(

It just makes me more appreciative when I do reg a respectable one.

P.S. These sort of make me want to become more invested in drop catching.:hehe:

If you ever become ashamed of any of your registrations just remember Kimberly registered Fusaichi-Samurai.com and did it not as a joke. Boy oh boy I can really be dense some days.

At least everyone knows what Revolution and Chaos mean. Would you know what Fusaichi means without Googling it? I didn’t think so…

I retain my title as “Queen of the bad domains” :hehe: or should I be unhappy? This is confusing. :red:

As soon as 'Squeaky Bum Time' entered the Collins English Dictionary, I rushed to the computer to obtain squeakybumtime.com , so that when it entered widespread use I could make a mint. However, all the American who heard of the name laughed in my face and jumped to the wrong conclusions based on my username. I'll just hold onto it, then I'll laugh in THEIR face, Bwa ha ha...

I used to register some real winners in the heat of the moment. The past several months I am trying to show more restraint

Hello everyone,
Perhaps I might be your saviour?

You see, I am doing an experiment at the moment with crappy domain names.
In fact, I am actively buying existing crappy domain names! Over the past few
years, I have purchased lots of crap names, and I want to buy yours ...

So, if you have a few crappy domain names, and you want Paypal for them,
then let me know. There are only a few rules:

1. They must be registered at eNom and ready to be pushed.
2. They must have at least 3 months of registration left.
3. They must be .coms

I will also check to see that they are not black-listed for spamming, but
other than that, I open to buy crap domain names in bulk. If you would
like to sell me some typoes, "bad moment of inspiration" or simply crap
domain names, then let me know at: admin (at) newquestions.com

Thanks, and keep this thread going. It is quite funny.

My worst ever? http://www.rip7.com
(I really thought it was so cool at the time)

P.S. - I'm currently paying a couple of dollars for crap domain names.
Not much, but sell me a few and you can buy a brand new domain :)
