What are your thoughts on .online domains?
It's very generic and not as ugly as .xyz for example, so that's a plus - but perhaps a little too long to have any success...
Plus most good names are either unavailable or premium...

Well, I've spend so far $100 or so dollars on .ONLINEs so I'm gonna survive even if it fails. This much only because of the recent $1 promos. Don't get me wrong, I like the extension, probably my favorite new gtld, but I'd probably have only a couple of .ONLINEs without the recent GD/NC promos. Not that there wasn't a lot of decent product keywords to reg...

I also started buying .online before the 4N.online buyout and $1 promotions. I believe it is by far the best gtld simply because it's straight forward and six characters isn't bad in terms of extension length.

I just made a trade, where I handed over a 2word 9L .online to a company who already owned the .com and .net variant. In return I got a 2 year subscription to their online service, worth aprox $30 a month.

Im happy since I already liked the service they offer and for me it feels good that they got this specific tld.

That's nice if you get some use out of the service and it makes it worth the trade. I've done trades in the past but not for service, just for other domains. Congrats.
