I am new to this whole domain buying/selling game and I am wondering if all single word .com domains are valuable.

I have found a 10 digit biological term .com that is available, should I snag it? What about other vague single word domains should I go them as well?

Be careful! I made this same mistake. I thought this same thing before and went out and snagged 2 (only 2, luckely)..single word dictionary names..Only to come and learn that if they aren't words said in everyday life language like $hit, work, school, lunch, breakfast..etc..then they aren't going to be worth crap. Luckely, one of them sold for 10 bucks, believe it or not I made 2 bucks on it..the other one, still hasn't sold. So in conclusion, if it isnt a word you would say anytime anyday, it probably won't be worth much. Hope this helps

Surely a lot depends on the word itself. I mean if it's a high ranked or low ranked.

Well it depends on your own firm decision. Some biological terms and pharma terms created a great hype in past. Now what. Nothing.

You must know that if you are getting this domain for development then how and what you plan to do on it.

If you are getting this one to resell it for higher prices then you have to research the market with related kind of domain sales in the past and the current situation of that kind of domain names.
