I like .one extension a lot. plus I got a few offers on my .one domains lately so I am all warm fuzzy about it.

I decided to share some warmth by creating a showcase thread. it would be nice for me to hear your .one domains. who knows maybe we can even trade some.

here I go first:

  • 3-d.one
  • arcade.one
  • bookmark.one
  • copyright.one
  • dictionary.one
  • eternity.one
  • explorer.one
  • gambler.one
  • immortal.one
  • input.one
  • kinky.one
  • meta.one
  • metaverse.one
  • prototype.one
  • rep.one
  • satan.one
  • subject.one
  • terminal.one
  • torrent.one
  • virtualreality.one

and to get you more pumpted about .one, here is some great sales already, not by me:

drone.one

well I guess now its clear why you were so excited about the couple domains you got in .one. nice job. keep putting $10 into it each year, and you might just hit jackpot in few years of now. good luck.

Pretty list! Especially like dictionary one. Now just need to convince a big player to move into that domain.

thanks. u can make some nice hacks still. plus there should be a few single word english words left in it still, that could be worth getting.

I was lucky enough to find out about .one from namepros forums, just on time to pickup a few decent ones.. things started to disappear pretty quick after that I remember.

I'd take .one over xyz and many other extensiosn any day.. so it's a matter of feeling and personal taste sometimnes.. but sometimes feelings intuitions and personal tastes pay in domaining too.

I don't like most of the alternative extensions but I really like .one. I have registered a few:

yay.one
jzz.one
gop.one
zph.one
kkz.one

Not mine, but already registered:
oneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneoneone.one
That's 21 times 'one' (which results in 63 characters - the max. length of a Domain name) + '.one'

I got:

mrdr.one
payz.one
cashz.one

For the last two, I am aware that .zone exists but I prefer .one anyway + .zone renewals are way too expensive for a pauper like me!

Thanks.

I will snatch the opportunity to expand on the rationale on why I think .one is a good extension.

If you are looking for an extension with potential to become a go to domain where companies must get their .com, net and now .co, .xyz, .wang. I see .one being one of these top contenders. It is short, sweet, memorable and it actually means something. The founder also seems dedicated to the registry, judging from his social media presence (although not exactly high profile). Plus, with the backdrop of one.com, I think we can hope for a silent but sure and rapid progression of .one into one of those 'go to' registrations for firms across industries.

This is where other extensions I think fall short. Others like .today, .zone, .guide. - whilst they serve their purpose in specialist niches, they do not offer that generalist wow factor we domainers must and do thrive on.

Just some thoughts. Keen to hear others!

I agree with your post completely. My only concern is that .one sounds like .won. I hope that won't affect interest.

Very true and not to be overlooked. Even if there were to be a .won (which I think I am correct in saying there isnt at the moment- sorry if incorrect), I do think .one is a lot stronger. The is only .ONE...!

I think its unlikely we will see a .won but this is an interesting point. Has issues with radio test and create problems with voice commands in future.

I hand reg mine back in May and really liked the extension. I had a working list that at the time I could have grabbed then - but checking them now those words are gone. I wish I would have grabbed them then -

Lame.one
Shantou.one
Lunar.one
Speak.one
Salute.one
Zap.one
Shot.one
Bud.one
Furry.one

Oddly enough, there is one off my old working list that is still available and I just purchased it right now for old times sake:

Scotland.one

yes, they didn't last at the low price they were at. I only got a few and wish I had gotten many more.

doubleU- A great point. How long do you think it will take for radio test/voice commands to have a controlling impact on domain names? Do you think it would be soon / significant enough to not invest in extensions with potential conflicts in these areas? Would be interested to hear your thoughts on this.
