One More Domain Search Monitoring Thread

Ok this is not exactly about domain search monitoring, but domain tasting...of a different kind

I recently registered two domains at Dynadot:
MathiasReim.com
Drakness.com

I used Dynadot's system that allows you to see if the domain gets any traffic. There wasn't any, so I deleted them from my account (for a free refund).

Now when I checked the Whois back again, it says that both the domains are registered to Belgium Domains

So what is going on here? Dynadot is seeing what names I reg and when I delete them, they're regging them?

Its not frustrating since I dropped the names anyway. Just weird that this should happen.

Belgium Domains is a domain taster. They noticed the domain was dropped and they are tasting it in their turn. BTW if you have access to the zone files for .com etc you can find the new & delete domains just by comparing the zone with the previous release... that's how snap etc make their lists of deleting domains too. So that is perfectly normal ;)

Hmm..
didn't know that about Belgium Domains...I think I made a mistake though, of dropping Drakness.com. I never waited for the parking stats to update.

Thanks for the info Kate. rep added

How fast (in seconds/minutes) can one compare the zone with the previous release? Thanks!
