I was also scammed. Riz, you could have seen in the thread that I already bought it.

He trashed a contract we signed for the domain and the trademark and said he hasn't received any payment afterwards. But I saved copies of contracts and payments.

I already contacted Escrow, Undeveloped and other companies where he had accounts. He has social profiles. But from at least LinkedIn, it seems his pictures disappeared.

He parked the domain at undeveloped yesterday but my payment was declined. First Escrow was agreed, but there were problems because they don't offer credit card for GBP transactions. So I paid him differently.

The domain is now registered at LybianSpider!

Yes same domain. I even wrote into one thread that I bought the domain when I saw it was still offered. We signed a contract in his Google Docs, and when there were different problems with Escrow.com and Undeveloped.com (where he sent me payment requests), we then changed the payment method. After payment, he wrote "sorry haven't received anything" and deleted the signed contract. I downloaded it before.

I already contacted undeveloped and escrow by the way. Also, my credit card was blocked by my card issuer after trying to pay via undeveloped.com. So this seems to be extremely bad luck from my side.

You can find the trademark for GAMBLY in the international trademarks databases, registered to the same person. They were part of our contract.

Everybody scammed should collect all data available and denounce it.

Saw this domain around when he was asking for some appraisals. I remember someone asking him why he was asking for the appraisal when he just sold the name in a different thread.

Thought something didn't add up then. Now, it seems my sixth sense was right

Yes, I posted into the open thread that I bought the domain. Then somebody contacted me regarding the appraisal, but shortly after my own payment. But he wrote me that somebody else offered him 650.

So I guess it's maybe one of these typical scams where the user didn't plan to scam from the beginning, but then the opportunity of receiving several payments for the same domain at once and disappearing was too tempting.

I've asked escrow and unveloped to save all data.

Yes, but everybody should denounce it no matter if they finally lost the funds or not. What is interesting is that he didn't accept Paypal from me when his Escrow request and Undeveloped payments had problems.

I've contacted escrow, undeveloped, OnlineNIC and LybianSpider.

Yes, saw that too. Thought he was just a noob, but it turns out much worse.

As always deal seemed to good to be true, and a few always take the bait. Funny how nobody wrote a neg review which would have negated any follow up buys, until after the fact.

Off topic but why was your CC blocked? Did you contact CC provider and Undeveloped and traced the reason?

I wrote that domain has already been sold in one thread, I think even on Saturday.

But it seems he took all payments at the same time. Because there was a delay in my payment due to my own problems with his escrow request (couldn't pay by card because GBP transactions by cc not possible) and my unveloped.com payment (declined), and because I demanded many "proofs" and amendments to the signed contract.

What can you do when you have almost all proofs, contract, escrow with same name and email, dns change to undeveloped.com, social profile, proof that he had a business there in the past, proof that he holds the trademarks for the same word, etc.

At one point you can't do much more. Impossible to have 0% risk online especially when user offers you escrow but there are problems with the transactions which have nothing to do with him. Shouldn't have paid differently but I knew he was having other offers despite having a contract with me. I think he just decided to take the "opportunity" that different people pay for the same domain at one point. Maybe not planned from the beginning because why should he have created an escrow payment...

Contacted all of them. Still waiting for reply.

that domain, was posted for auction by another user's name and the thread was closed by mod because of duplicate accounts.

when that happens with new member, then that should raise a red flag

they come in with that intention

and sometimes you just gotta walk away.

being persuaded to use pay services other than escrow.com, is reason to be suspicious.

hope you guys get your dough back.

imo..
